Ok zeke, here it is, my favorite pattern is a Case Sowbelly and this particular one is my favorite of all I have. You will find that your mind will change as you buy more and look around more. I probably bought 50 knives of different patterns before the Sowbelly struck me. Most of all, buy what you like, not what someone talks you into and you will be happy with every purchase

Here is one of my favourites so far zeke. I like old Sheffield made knives. This one is 100+ years old.

Today is the right word with us, isn't it? Well, hunting season and all, here is my favorite for now. My Randall model 3, 6" blade, nickel silver butt plate.

Thanks PA and others. Your comments are much appreciated. Here is another along similar lines. Made by James Howarth. The stag has more red and yellow to it than the other. There is a hole clean through the handle where there likely was a leather thong at some point. Enjoy s-k

Well, my current favorite is a Bulldog Prototype Elephant Toe that had cracked celluloid handles and was Customized, rehandled in Mammoth Tusk Interior Ivory, and scrimshawed by Colin Paterson. I don't carry this one, it lives in a safe.

I do use this knife as my Avatar, so I guess you could say I use it every day.

Also pictured is a Swayback Trapper made by Wendell Carson that is one of my EDC's. Course I have another that I keep as a collectable and don't use it.
Why carry a cheap piece of junk when you can have the pleasure of carrying a GOOD KNIFE!

This is another of my favourites. A 1920s Joseph Rodgers with a very early stainless steel blade and genuine ivory.
