hey if everybody doesnt mind could you show pics of your collection. or give me a link to the same type of thread.

zeke, go through these posts and you'll see some of the finest knives around from rare antiques and collector knives to everyday users. we show our collections on a daily basis. just keep reading and asking queastions. i wish the internet had been around when i was your age.

Your collection is real nice and I want to point out one thing
(just might help you)
I see Cell handles mixed with other knives in you photos.
If you can place them in a diffrant case. KEEP them in a difrant place.
If one cell handle goes gasout. Then it will hurt all your knives that are close to the bad handle.

I think your other knives will fell better about it too.
Just IMO (Celluloid Handles) check this POST out ok.

Alot of these knives were put together for picture purposes only. These were pictures taken like 9 months ago.
I appreciate the concern and the advice though.

I do collect and have a few hundred Bulldog knives (don't really know the exact number) amongst some Case, Buck and Canal Street knives as well as many customs.

That being said, I regard the current crop of Bulldog and Case knives to be inferior to their older counterparts. That is an opinion that is shared by many collectors.

That was a truly fantastic thread . Thanks for reminding us Hukk. What happened to Willy? He had some beautiful knives. I don't recall seeing anything from him lately. s-k

He is still around, he had a lot of web page work to do after his recent trip to Oregon and Hawaii. I need to send him an email soon, I usually email him fairly often.

Hi Zeke. I keep my knives in this cabinet. It was advertised as a watchmaker's cabinet but suits the job perfectly. Here is a picture of one of my knife drawers. This one is almost all pen knives with one or two other small knives as well. I hope you are enjoying your new hobby. s-k

Elobo, They are all very fortunate to have a good home and seem happy . I really like those display cases James . Is that a coral tuxedo knife? Can you show some pics of your tuxedo knives please? s-k

S-k, Yes I do have a Red Coral Tuxedo but I don't have any pics of it by itself. I will take some when I get a chance. here is a Turquoise Tuxedo which is in that display case.

I have posted this once before. These are unusual in that they are a matched set of 5 Bulldog Calf Ropers and they are the exact knives pictured on Jim Parker's first catalog. They all have Bulldog Brand Proto #2 etched on the back of the blade in print. Jim Parker bought the rights to Bulldog in 1993, these are the original Prototypes from September 1993. The original invoice is signed by Achim Gronauer of the Friedrich Olbertz factory. Each knife is a 1 of a kind Prototype. Later all of these went into production, 150 of the Stag and Green Bone, 100 of each of the Celluloids. I have quite a few other original 1993 proto's with the same proto etch on the back of the blades. These are the only Bulldog knives that I've seen with this type of etch (Bulldog Brand Proto).

S-k here is the red coral Tuxedo. Bear with me, I just bought a new camara this afternoon and I'm trying to learn how to use it.

Ren wax & Simichrome were purchased from ilikeknives aapk store..Who I highly recommend..

Thanks, I saw one like it, a production model on ebay a couple weeks ago or so. So, they come around every now and then.
