All About Pocket Knives

Hey guys, I'm not saying I don't want my new GEC jack to get a patina, but if I decided I want it to keep the polish, what should I do to to prevent the staining process or how could it be reversed?

One thing I want to add.

If you cut some food like an apple. Then clean off the blade before putting her back in your pocket.

Good advice Ken. Johnnie always cut your fruit with the blade tip down so the juice doesnt run into the knife inards. That is if you cut fruit with it, I do all the time and have learned over the years.

Gino, I do cut fruit with my knives, I've never thought to cut with the blade tip down but now I know.

Will this Ren_Wax preserve the blade etchings or will it actually polish them out?

Hi Ken,

The wax is a protectant/sealer and is not abrasive ............great stuff!

I haven't heard of any issues with etches.

Ren-Wax is safe on Schrade Scrimshaw ink as well.

I put it on all may knives before I put them away.
