Fight'n Rooster Blued Blade Cattleman Whittler Set

I bought this matching number set at Parkers show. The blades are blued like a firearm. I've been wanting this set for a while.

Man, I totally forgot about what you might've picked up at that show with Christmas settin in. Those are not in the book are they James?

Nope. The book stops at 1993.

I can see why you have wanted those James, they are pretty cool. I never saw the blued blades before.

Thanks Gino. I had a hard time getting decent pictures of them but they are really nice in person. To my knowledge there is one more blued blade club set of a different pattern and different year. Hopefully I can find those as well.

James, you must be gettin close to havin almost every knife of every pattern and handle material by now. I and others would love to see the complete collection so far. What ya think?

I still have a ways to go but I have a real good start. He didn't start doing the stag and pearl sets till 1989 which was the cotton sampler set. As far as I know, 2005 was the last year for the stag and pearl club sets. From 1981-1988 he did 2 pearl knives a year which were different patterns from each other but I don't think they were released at the same time. There were some Anniversary knives thrown in there too. If my figures are correct there should be about 65 club knives that I know of. He usually made anywhere from 200-600 of each knife. I hope this all makes sense. I will try to post some pictures as time allows.
