Hi zeke,
Check out some of the AAPK member stores and click on "knife care" or "cleaning accessories". That's what I did, bought a whole kit with polishing cloth, oil, polish, and some Ren-Wax. And they're not trying to get rich off of their sales, real reasonable prices...
Hope this helps....

Here are some quick answers:
Lubricants:
Mineral oil
Rem Oil
White lightning
3in1 oil

Polish/clean:
Flitz
Simichrome

Protect:
Renaisance Wax (Ren wax) OR
a thin coat of above mentioned oils

As mentioned many are available in the AAPK stores. As a general rule you should inspect the knife monthly. Relube as needed. Clean if you see any pepper spots or tarnish. Also avoid leaving fingerprints on the knife- I've seen them become permanent.

nmikash ; Very well said.

mumblypeg ; Yes this is a real good way to start.

I still think if there was a tab at the top of this page marked KNIFE CARE.
And had 3 or 4 ways to use the prodect and methed in order of steps. This we all could benifit by.
Can this be added in the other tab ?

Just my 2 cents worth.

For lube I use Tuf-Glide only, for all my folding knives and firearms.

You can see it here,,,,http://www.sentrysolutions.com/welcome.shtml
