Johnnie, that seems to be the problem with the Schatts... just when you think you have them under control they return even worse than ever

. Just ask Sunburst

. That is a nice looking knife by the way.

thanks s-k. i have had a chance to play with it and it's a hanfull o knife. the backsprings and blades are thick and beefy with gator action. if it were'nt so pretty, i'd be tempted to use it. i have collected old case for a long time but with prices for quality old ones so high...... these will sate my habit in between. the quality is far above the new offerings from case. so i'll buy some queens and shatts. i know they will hold their value.

smiling-knife ; It is all
Sunbursts falt. He shows his S&M's girls off here then tells us about the way they feel and the high quality they do have. Just for outers to drool over. So jonet143 and I recived our first S&M on the same day. Sunburst must be raising more S&K bugs and reliseing them cuz. I have been bit by the S&K bug too. Its like the differance of drinking beer and now drinking CROWN ROYAL. Beer is still good but CROWN is a lot better.
Who got you on the S&K wagon smiling-knife ?
OOPS yes that is a real nice looking Knife you are showing but I know its NOT your last one jonet143.

Sigh...

Sigh...

Yep, yep the old schatts will get you every time...Its becoming a dangerous thing that seems to be quite catchy...
A very beautiful moose railsplitter Johnnie I'm quite glad to see that the S&M bug has bit you in a big way...
Sniff, sniff I am shocked

by the accusations by justold52 that I am somehow at fault in this epidemic of the Schatts. I mean it is not my fault that they are the best quality knife on the market today, still manufactured in the original building using the original equipment that is over a 100 years old. Each one is handmade with love and care.
I do like the example used by justold52 though
Beer is still good but CROWN is a lot better.
I have to go now, I feel a case of the Schatts coming on...

When I received my Series XVI Railsplitter Moose, I came VERY close to buying another one for use. Johnnie, I know what you mean when you say it's big and beefy with gator action. On most Railsplitters, which are hefty knives to begin with, the spey and sheepfoot blades are on a thinner spring than the main blade. On the Moose, both blades are on the thick springs and it makes for a very impressive handful of knife.
It's still one of my favorites. Congrats on getting one!
Sunburst, those pictures of the Queen factory are AWESOME!
Sometimes I get the Schatts so bad I can't leave the house!

I think at this point you can only hope to live a relatively normal life while trying to manage the symptoms as best as possible. Good Luck

jonet143 is this your forth one ?
I still have not even opened my blades up yet on my FIRST S&M.
I am waiting for Nov. 29 my birthday to open her up and see her lovey legs.
I spent my knife money on this one instead of more S&Ks.

Man oh man you two have it bad...

I hope Ken's outhouses have wheels on them for your sake...
Nice Premier Johnnie, I have wanted to explore the Premier series more but have too many wish items up the list. The quality rocks on the one I have...
Now Ken you don't have to wait until your birthday to open your S&M packages, I give you permission to open at least one of them a little early...

Very nice Schrade you got there, I bet it came sharper than sharp right out of the package...

Sunburst & jonet143 ; I peeked in the S&M box just as Sunburst tolled me to before my B day. She was so shinny that I saw my face.
Then I had to
run to the smelly room.

So I will wait to open her all the way up on the 29th.

Well the reason I waited is because of you. Sunburst
A long time ago I wanted you to shop for me to get me a real good deal on my FIRST S & K . So I could have some history with my first. (like it would have been an honor ) Do you remember ? Well that did not happen.
So I tryed to buy one from you to make some thing personal with my first S & M. Again that did not happen.
You did give me 3 sites that you liked to get real nice ones and you can trust the seller. So to make this a special knife for me. (because it's my first S&K ) That you did help me with. I wanted to give my self a
SUPER Birthday gift. Whitch I did but to keep with
old traditions I had to wait to open my gift from my self.
Getting old is some thing you will under stand some day (
I hope) cuz us old farts do some strange things for strange reasons lol ::blah::
Thanks to You Sunburst I had a SUPER B Day
