All About Pocket Knives

I picked this knife up at a sale, it is in very poor shape but I found it interesting. I found out from the chat room the company went out of business in the 20's. Is it unusual that the blades are on the large end of the knife, most of the dog leg jacks I have seen have the blades on the small end. Just curious.

sort of makes more sense that way I think.

I agree for some reason I would think it stronger. I was thinking it might be a clue as to who made the knife also.
