All About Pocket Knives

The 73's just scream class. They're a great size for carry in a belt sheath or a pocket, and a near perfect size and shape for a using knife. The 73 and it's variants, including the 72's, have got to be my favorite of all the GEC patterns. Two of these I carry regularly. (hint: they're in the second row, forth from right and far right.)

I agree. The 73 2 blade is my favorite. I carried one for a long time. Even let the thing get a little rust from carrying. Have used it for everything from farming to cutting boxes in the store. Cuts haybale twine like no ones business! Still sharpens great and is still a great user. I carried it just so I could tell customers how great a knife it really is. Still can't convince them around here! They always look at the price and then move down the knife case to the cheap rough riders!

Can't sell a good knife around here. So, I just wind up having to put them in my own collection!

I know what your talking about Monk, I try not to bring down a new knife to show my grandfather anymore.
It's to the point where if he asks how much I paid, I get a quick case of amnesia.
