What do you think Ebay could or would do if someone bid 1 mil on it and refused to pay?

Poor kid ......

He really believes those tall tales his Grand Daddy told him ...... as a skeptic I have to ask the obvious question ..... " where is the proof " ..... hmmmm, Grand Daddy is dead, so is Adolf, but I'm sure Adolf, before his demise, wrote a quick note ..... This dagger is Mine !!!!

Honestly, who would pass this opportunity up, certainly not me ..... I'll be bidding on it just as soon as Hell freezes over or I become President of the United States.

I asked the seller if he would do a buy it now for 999k and the following was his response.

Is that a joke ? Move on, no games someone discovered 270 picasso paintings , those are real, I'm real, my grandfathers name was Bernhard Bollhauer, born in 1893

Hell, for that price I would buy two of them - one to carry, and one to put in the safe. ::ds:: ::ds::

I suspect that they did. As soon as they became aware of the swastika on the handle, it was all over.

It's gone. I didn't even get a chance to see if he offered free shipping or not. That's usually a deal sealer for me on eBay.

Hmmm. I'll have to check, but I think I may have Lenin's straight razor. I got it from a friend of a distant relative's second cousin. I'm only gonna ask $500K for it! ::nod::

i emailed the seller before the item was pulled by FeeBay,,,that it was a common Red Cross enlisted man's Hewer, worth maybe $500-600,,,and that in no circumstance was an item ever owned by Hitler or awarded by Hitler for any act of bravery or high achievemetn,,,here are some other comments from another forum from collectors in the know..."Ha - Ha ! - What a complete idjit ! !

A million dollars ! It's a plain old Red Cross Hewer.
This guy really has no clue, or he's a huge scam artist !

"I'd like to hear the whole 'story' behind this one.",,,,,,another one-"Hmmm....do I bid and hope I get it for under $1,100,000 or do I use buy it now before someone else swoops in under me a snatches this priceless item up? What a dilemma"....and another,"You are too late. I must have this unique item and have already offered to buy it for 2 million dollars as well as a lifetime membership to the buffoon society.

"Luckily it is not just a knife, it is a "knive" so you know it is special. Also, it is being held in a private "fault" in Miami. I keep all my militaria in the San Andreas fault."..still more...."The Hitler XXL rare knive has been removed. Somebody who knows their way around ebay dropped a dime on him, and ebay does not like to be a laughing stock. Gee - I wonder who could have done that"....more yet..."The swastika was clearly visible, so that would have been enough for them to remove it under their stupid rules. Too bad, I was hoping to see where this would go"...last comment-"Me too.......................!

I suppose, after all, it was false advertising !
( I also sent him a message.........)",,,,,this was so much fun!

Well, OK, but I'd rather have Lizzie Borden's. You got that one?
