All About Pocket Knives

Here are some of the projects i've been working on, in various states of finish.

This little guy was supposed to be a bear but came out looking like Chester Cheetah haha. Inspired by a youtube video, mine doesn't do the original much justice but still, a lot of fun to work on and i'll sand him down and put some paint or something on him....







This guy started out as a practice face, then turned into Santa meets Stalin lol. Not close to finished with him yet...






Finally, here's a whale, its taken a good bit of time getting the curvature down. Still need to put in eyes, mouth and maybe some fins...







Anyway, hope you all enjoy lookin' at them!

Boy just cutting into the eyebrows at the top of the nose really creates a look of concern in his eyes...







now...anyone have any ideas for the eyebrows and hair???

Excellent whittlin's karma...that's one of the fun aspects of carving, you never know what direction the carving will take you. You may start off planning to carve a cowboy, and end up with a civil war soldier or santa claus etc...

I like that BIG 'ol nose on Chester, gives him lots of character
