Touch of the Schatts (pt 2)

Hi I acquired this one at the same time as the other I posted. I believe it is the rootbeer bone whittler made in 2000. There is a rough spot in the bone just to the left of the shield I don't know if it was damaged at some point or just came that way naturally. Still a great looking knife. :) s-k

just saw this one s-k. very nice. seems there is no cure for the shatts.

Thanks guys. No cure for the Schatts? :shock: Since then, I looked at the bone under a magnifying glassand I think a little flaked-off. Obviously nothing I could do about that but the bone looked a little dry and crusty. I rubbed in some of this dermatological cream that I use on the dry cracked skin on my elbow and it seemed to work a treat. Hopefully no more flaking. Perhaps a new trend in knife care. :) s-k
