All About Pocket Knives

Part of my old collection included a wonderful boker knife with a solingen shield. I believe its some sort of red bone...please see below. One of the scales is cracked around the pin, and the chunk will move around but cannot be removed entirely. I'd like to fix this without having to remove the piece - can someone give me some advice on how to fix this without removing the piece or getting glue all over the place? As of this moment all i can think about crazy glue......

I use Zap-A-Gap.
The thin (pink bottle) penetrates the cracks better.
It make take several applications to fill it in.

thanks Dale, in the meantime the darn piece fell off. Should I use the same stuff or do you recommend another type of epoxy? Sorry for the noob question!

ps - i searched and found the link to the KnifeNetwork glue test thread...reading up on it.

Since the piece fell off, I would use this glue:
