I have had past conversations with some pretty experienced knife guys, sometimes as just the "fly on the wall" at shows, and IMO the general consensus seems to be that it's real likely that NONE were ever made in the R1613 or R953 patterns that had the bullet shield. Is there any existing old advertising available that shows either pattern with a bullet shield? Has anybody ever seen a single one that was in "parts knife" condition? Sure, you can see them in the knife books but were they real? I would like to see something that would conclusively validate the existence of this pattern bullet. Or, am I missing something here entirely?

P.S. The knife in question on this thread is laughable as a legitmate Bullet.

Eric, The Catalog No. C-5 shows one on pg. 56
