OK....I have quite a few nice, older (XX era) Case knives that might have a broken or tipped blade. What would YOU do if you wanted it repaired?? Do some of these knife repair people keep vintage correct-era blades & handles?? Just curious, don't know too much about that. If so, is it expensive?? Just p/u a nice XX 6392, master blade had been tipped, and that drives me crazy!! Any input?? TIA

IF it were ME, if the blades were just tipped I would correct the edge with a stone, if they are broken, your best best is to reprofile them into decent users or find a screwed up knife of the same model with good blades (but bad springs, handles ect). Or just keep them to repair other knives you may pick up in the future. Just my .02

Thanks so much for the input, but, just curious, is there ANYONE out there who might have, say, XX stamp master blades, etc.....??? Any of these knifesmiths on here keep anything like that, to you're knowledge??
