Has anyone seen the new add from Queen in the new Knife World Mag? They are going to reproduce a selection of knives randomly from a 100 year old S&M catalog. I'm excited ::tu::

Rats then they will miss the Christmas trees this year.

A better plan would be to come out for Thanksgiving Day.

Course if they are doing some of the HJs again then they will have a steep hill to climb to come close to the ones Upnorth had them make for his SFOs a few years back IMO. I am certainly interested to see these and compare. ::nod::

Pretty cool!

Case has it's "Classics", so does Queen (sort of) now Schatt. That is a great idea to offer them as a set as they appeared in the vintage catalogs. I'm in!

And to think if Upnorth hadn't started this craze off with his SFOs a few years back, Queen wouldn't even be making these. Obvious that knowone at Queen can take the credit for this idea. I'm not bitter, just stating fact boys. I just felt that all needed to know who got the ball rolling and began all this.

I found it kind of curious that when Parker owned Case he had "Classics" contracted out to Queen.
I'm sure someone on the Case forum could say for sure but I'm not sure if Case made any of the Case Classics! ::dang::

Case did make a few of them Dave but I can't remember which ones. I wanna say the Saddlehorns were some that Case made.

W.R.Case made the first four of patterns from the Classic series in house. The Saddlehorn, Gunboat Canoe, Trapper and the Congress. When an unfortunate turn of events caused Jim to file for bankruptcy he sold W.R Case but kept the rights to the Classics project. That is how Queen became involved.
