All About Pocket Knives

STOCKMAN ~ Yes if I were starting collecting ~ My pattern would be the stockman. For the size, feel, number of blades and appeal.
Look at the picture below and don't you just love those stockmen?
Top: Bull Brand Candy Stripe, then Ka-Bar, Case, Christmas Tree handle Fight'n Rooster, Schrde's Kentucky Rifle, Fight'n Rooster made for the Sheriff's Dept. in Wilson Co. TN, S-W Cut Co. Daniel Boone came in a commerative box with a medal coin, A stag handle Col. Coon, A stag handle that says on the blade and tang Jim Bowie and at the bottom a knife that says Col. Coon on the tang, bet'ch it's a Colonial made after Tennessee Knife Works sold out to Case. Cause it's got plastic handles and I never knew Adrian Harris to make from but bone, stag, wood, and pearl.

That Schrade's Kentucky Rifle. First one I have seen. She's asking me to pick her up!! Is it ok with you if I come and get her ?

Yes the Schrade/ A. G. Russell Kentucky Rifle is a very cool knife. Here is a little information on the issue, from the Russell site.....

The Knife Collectors Club was established in 1970. In 1971, we issued the very first LIMITED EDITION KNIFE, the Kentucky Rifle pocket knife. The lowest serial numbers were made with 14k Gold bolsters and inlay. The next lowest serial numbers were engraved and etched and serial numbers over 1,000 were sold for $12; they now sell for $95 to $135.
