What's It For?

Anybody know the purpose of this knife? Seller says US Navy Survival.

Don't know. Every life-raft survival knife I recall seeing had a flotation handle.
Makes sense. Deep water. Knife. life-raft. Drop overboard. Sink or float?
I'm sure the Camillus gurus will know what this is, though.

I believe it is a raft-survival knife Charlie.The reason it doesn't have handles is they were inserted into a thin pocket in the raft and had to be flat as possible.

I was an Army man, we had inflatables for infiltration purposes, Rubber Boats we called them.
RB-6, RB-10, RB-12; the numbers denoted the maximum number of men for the boat.
I don't remember any knives.
