Hello...What is White Stage? I see it in Parker's 2010
Price Guide, page 98 6220 White Stag, is it just untreated
stage? It seems to be the only one in 10 dot 1970 to
have scales like that, that is all the pattern #'s!

I take that back he also lists a 5254 as white stag 10 dot 1970,
but fails to give a price for the 5254 Delrin 10 dot 1970.

The ten dot delrin is pattern # 6254 and is bone and or delrin, it is listed. There are three patterns that had white stag in 1970, # 5220, # 5233, and # 5254. The first number indicates handle material 5 being stag, 6 being bone or delrin. White stag is deer antler undied. Hope this helps. At least a knive maker here in Montana told me this is what white stag is. Could also have something to do with the stag embargo then. Stag from Germany tends to be whiter than Indian stag.

Hello, Thank you Gary, that is what I thought! I see now that Parker
refers to most stag by the #5, and that white stag must be unheated
stag horn! was very confused for a while.
