All About Pocket Knives

Found this one at a yard sale for a dollar. I know nothing about boy scout knives. One side is marked "official Boy Scouts of America" and the other is marked " made in USA patented." Can anyone date this knife for me, and tell me the approx. value. Any and all info is appreciated
