DIY Electro Etcher anyone build one?

I bought my etcher from Jantz.
I figured it was cheaper in the long run.
The current price is only $129.95. Just a quick tally of the cost of his parts puts it over $122.
To me it was worth the few dollars I would save not to have to deal with the headache of making it.
Mechanical things I understand, but I just can't see what is going on inside those wires!

The other good thing is that the kit from Jantz has all the chemicals and goodies you need to get started, which makes the kit cheaper in the long run. Plus in the rare instance that you might need tech support, you can call the manufacturer for help. I did that once & found them very helpful. The problem was operator error---mine!
I did find that it is worth the time and money to have the stencils professionally made.
They look much better and they last a LOT longer than the DIY stencils.

I bought all the parts and I think it cost me about 48 dollars for everything. Have not put it together yet though.
