Just got my abalone handled, liner lock, single bladed folding hunter (1 of 25) in today's mail. MY GAWD, ::ds:: is that thing gorgeous!!! That's my problem. It's too dang pretty to put on display with my other folding hunters! I feel like it needs it's own display shelf. ::dang:: Guess I'll have to fire up the tablesaw and get to busy!

 My wife, (gotta' love her!) wants me to make another shelf that size for the oddball knives. The coke bottles, barlows, copperheads and such. (and I've been thinking of down-sizing a bit!) ::shrug:: :) But I always do as wifey says! ::tu::

She's a beaut! Deserves her own 'special' display. ::tu::

Fantastic collection, too.

errrrrr...... if that Canal Street is causing you space utilization issues, I would be willing to store it for you for the next thirty years rent free.

That is a beautiful knife. Thanks for sharing it here.
Also great looking display you got. ::tu:: ::tu::

WOW that is one I do not have yet.

Just have to hold in the hand to get to see all the colors.

I think your wife has the right idea.

Now you will have to put that Canal Street in some special place when you are not at home. Please add it to your home owners policy too... ::nod:: ::nod::

The Winterbottom with a bail... boy, where do I start! LOL! It's a Queen brand, 1973-1975 tang stamp. Delrin handles, custom (?) hacksawed jimping on the main blade, aftermarket bail with a MUCH larger hole in the handle for the bolt to go through... ::dang:: Oh, did I mention someone tried to double-edge the back of the main blade from the nail nick forward??!? A real piece of work!
