This is the new frame available from GEC. It will come in several variations; the first of which is this "Mink", and later a Jack.
This is the Annual Rendezvous model in LVS Abalone, only 30 made.

Thanks for the picture knifeswapper. The # 66 pattern is the one I've been waiting on, the frame is perfect size for a pocket friendly Jack, Stockman,Mini Trapper, or Whittler!

. It would be nice if GEC would make a $65 - $75 Stockman or Jack so I wouldn't feel so bad carrying it at work or EDC. I hate to pay much more than $75 for a work knife that will be road hard and put away wet.

I got a chance first hand to see the mink, and I agree, it looks very pocketable, slim, and classy.
Guys, I agree, I think GEC should try to find a model they can produce that won't carry such a high price, yet won't sacrifice quality.
I know, you get what you pay for, but I think theres a huge number of guys waiting for them to produce such a product. (me included)

i agree johnny, iam hopeing they do that in the stockman again and other variances of that 3 7/8", sounds like a nice pocket size. id emailed them this weekend and asked that about the stockman in the new 3 7/8", mabe if enough people email or call, they will consider it.

I love the sounds of a 3 7/8'' stockman.
Hope you find a GEC to get CB, you won't be disappointed.

yea i did get to see my first GEC the other night at a knife swap, a guy had a furtaker trapper, wasnt for sale, but you could difantly feel just how great it was made. i also think the new trapper that was released a moth or so ago looks great, id bet a lot better trapper than a new case !

Hey Guys sorry but there is a typo that will be corrected today on the GEC website for the length of the 66 pattern.
It will be listed at 3 1/2" closed.

3 1/2" is a handy size for an all-round EDC knife.

Great
I love all the GECs, but I've only bought a few.
My only complaint is that most are too big for me to carry at work.
I work in an office and it would look odd to carry one on my belt.
If I carry my 23, 53 or 73, it feels like I've got a brick in my pocket.
I've been hoping for one that's between an easy opener and stockman.
Sounds like I'm going to be out some money soon
