All About Pocket Knives

I HAVE THIS OLD MILLER BROS. THAT MY GRANDFATHER CARRIED IT WAS PASSED DOWN TO ME BY AN UNCLE. IT IS 5 1/4 INCHES LONG, A LOCKBACK IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE. VERY LITTLE WARE ON BLADE.IT IS MARKED MILLIR BROS CUT. MERIDEN CT. I KNOW IT IS MORE THAN 100 YEARS OLD. I WILL TRY SOME PICTURES.

Thats a great old folding hunter! If it could only talk, I bet she would tell a great story.

Thanks for all the reply's to his question's about the old Miller folding hunter, I have my Grandfather's Cat., (king of the woods folding hunter) The knife is in great shape and it was purchased in the 1920's, I see them see on ebay for lots of money and have thought about selling it, you guys are right, it's a family knife and it's going back in the safe. You've made a great choice, once you get rid of something like that it's near impossible to get back.

I applaud your choice to keep it as well.
I've got this old Case that belonged to my great grandfather.


He carried it in S America while prospecting for oil for Standard Oil back in 1905-1910.

It's worth a pretty good chunk of change, but it ain't for sale.

My Great Grandfather left me his Freemason knife that my Great Grandmother was supposed to give me when she passed but I never got the knife.
I held it once when I was about 6 years old and I think that knife was what got me started to love knives.

Just my thoughts out loud...
