I will try to follow up with a good photo. Knife does have a main blade lock, with scaler on back. Both blades are about 4 inches. The hook getter has a file and a opener. Main knife is 5 inches. If it had numbers on the master blade they are worn off. Hopefully the photo will help Knifeaholic if there is a hook sharpener or shield missing.

all my books show a hook sharpener on the 32095f-4 7/8", 32095f ss - 5". except the 32098f - 5 1/2", with sea beast on the side. yours sounds more like a 32093f - 5" with a scaler on the main blade. the only picture i have shows no shield on a 32093f.

the oval shape on your handle does'nt conform to the rectangular shape of a hook sharpener. the oval on your handle looks a little too far back on the handle. this could be my imagination. in mint shape, they are fairly valuable.

That's a 32093, which i described in my original post....liner lock main blade with scaler back...the file edge on the hook remover blade was I believe supposed to be used to sharpen hooks.

This pattern never had a hook sharpener. I have never seen one in yellow with a shield, just plain yellow handles. It is possible that some could have been made with shields. but then you would clearly see the holes/pins where the shield was attached.

My guess...decomposition or damage to the celluloid handle, never had a shield definitely never had a hook sharpener.

An original genuine knife, though...but a 32093 not a 32095.
