Camillus changed there numbering system at one point in time.
I don't not have a list of what the changes were, but I know it happened.
Tom Williams, the historian for Camillus Cutlery, told me about it.
That is one of the things that makes listing all the Camillus models so difficult.
I cannot speak to your specific knife, but that may be the reason for the difference.
It also could have been that the wrong blade was installed in the factory.
A third possibility is that someone may have changed the blade.
Sorry I could not be more specific.
Perhaps Tom will see this post and give his input.
