Hello to all. I've been enjoying AAPK and member topics for months and have finally registered for membership. I too have the Queen "addiction". I've also become a big fan of other makers and have duplicated this post in the GEC and Boker forums. As spare time allows, I make pocket pouches to protect my EDC "selection for the day".

I've included the link below highlighting some of my handiwork if you care to take a look. Included are a hodge-podge of Bokers, GEC's, Queens, S&M and a couple of fixed blades.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your collections, observations and knowledge. I have learned so much and appreciate your eagerness to share and your commitment and community spirit.

Thank you TJ, that one just feels right to me. I've noticed we pretty much like the same kind of knives. ::tu::

I got one like this for my son when he graduated from high school in June.

I'm sorry Gino. Every time I see that pruner I mean to post on it but always get side-tracked. It's a nice looking piece, I like anything with nice rosewood or ebony handles. That's the one Johnnie had isn't it?

Thank you Gino. I told him to put it away until he's older. I gave him some other knives to EDC. He'll appreciate it more later.

TJ they just call it a half whittler and it's a small one, 3 1/8 inches. Genuine pearl, D2 carbon blades. I love the wharnies too and in fact tonight ordered one of the Case swayback jacks with a wharnie and chestnut brown jigged scales. I've been eyeing them for awhile. There was one on a thread here recently and it looked so good I finally gave in. :D
