Hi, I have a Frost Cutlery 440 Stainless Steel Knife. I know absolutely nothing about knives and would like some info on it (model #, value, general description). It's about 5 1/4" closed and about 8 1/2" open. Any info will be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi and welcome to AAPK.
The knife you have is often called a "tactical" style knife. That is a generic name applied to larger folding knives that usually have a locking blade and a pocket clip. Your knife employs a linerlock mechanism to lock the blade open so as to prevent it closing on the fingers when in use. It also has a partially serrated blade which can be helpful for cutting certain materials.
Frost makes a host of knives in the "tactical" style. Most of them are made in China and sell for modest prices. Many can be had new for $10 or less.

I have a handfull of similar knives (tactical style, chinese made) I keep around as "give aways". If I were selling them in a garage sale (rummage sale, yard sale - what ever they're called in your neck of the woods) I would have them in a box marked $1 each and would take a quarter if someone wanted to bargin.
