Urgent Prayer Request

My best friend and fishing buddy of the last 37 years had a heart attack last night.
The doctors don't expect him to live, but I have different expectations.
Please pray for him. His name is Paul.

Thank you,
Dale

UPDATE
Paul is still hanging in there.
They have sedated to where he is unconscious.
They found a blood clot in his leg & think he has one in his lung.
They will do more testing and cat-scan tomorrow.

The same doc who said she "would be surprised if he lived through the night" said this morning that she is "encouraged and there are glimmers of hope".
He is not out of the woods yet, but there are definite signs of improvement!
So thank you all for your prayers and please don't stop now!

Blessings to you all,
Dale

Funny how sometimes when the doctors say there's no hope, the Greatest of all Physicians gives hope.
I'm praying that the clots will dissolve, and Paul will get up out of that bed soon!

Guys Dale just phoned me to say his friend Paul's condition has worsened and the doctors are saying he is "brain dead". Dale request your prayers once again. May God will be glorified and His will be done in this situation.
I will ask that you also pray for Dale as he is traveling to be there at Paul's bedside.

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS

Thank you for your prayers for my friend Paul.
Alyson (my wife) & I witnessed a real moving of God today in his hospital room.
Last night the Neurologist had told his mother that he would never wake up, there was too much brain damage.
Today he squeezed my hand, and tried to turn his head towards my voice.
Alyson & I prayed for him and he really began to respond.
Shortly after that the doctors took his ventilator out.
He is breathing on his own. Shaking his head yes and no in response to questions from us and from the nurses. The doctor said, “It is a miracle!”
He coughed on command for the nurse, and was even trying to talk, even though he had a tube between his vocal cords for the last week until they removed the ventilator today.
The doctor said it takes most people several days before they can talk, but he was trying.
The Neurologist was amazed! He said that there was no significant upper brain activity yesterday. He said, "I felt so bad to tell his mother that he would never wake up. I felt so sorry for her. He (meaning Paul) is a miracle! I am glad I was wrong."

Thank you for your prayers. Please keep praying for his recovery.
There is still a long way for him to go, but I am confident that God will see him through.

Dale

My wife & I are heading out on a weeks vacation and we are starting by going up to visit Paul in the hospital near Anacortes, WA.
Yesterday his brother said he is having lucid moments, but then fades away, but comes back just as quickly. The doctor said this is normal, and most people fully recover though it can take months even as long as a year.

Praise the Lord, he blood clots in his lung and leg are dissolving, and his heart is MUCH stronger than the doctors thought. There is little evidence of the heart attack from the info I have received. We appreciate your prayers………don’t stop now!

I would appreciate your prayers while my wife & I are traveling. We are going up to Northern Washington, to visit Paul, and then traveling down to Brookings Oregon, just a couple miles from the California border, on the coast.

Thanks again for all your prayers.
You guys ROCK!

Bless you all,
Dale
