Somethings amiss with this Remington

If this knife were authentic, it would have nickel silver pins in the handles, not brass. And you wouldn't be able to see the blade pin. And the i.d. of the brass bushing in the laynard hole is much too small. I wonder how much his knife buddy offered for this knife?

Good call there justold52. I had posted the ebay link to the same knife the last time it sold. The pattern number was the big give away last time, but this seller forgot to include a picture of it on his listings. I guess someone told him the knife is not exactly right and he's trying to regain some of his loss.

Maybe he is "just" trying to recoup his loss, but at who's cost. Of course, it could just be a typo in the description where he claims to have recently purchased it at an upstate "NY" antique mall. I mean a eBay is kind of an upstate antique mall, isn't it ?!?!
