LB7 blade moves up and down when locked....

I have a bunch of LB7s I have been accumulating and now I am starting to fix them up/customize the ones that have flaws.
The one I am working on now the blade moves up and down when in the open locked position(vertical wobble).
I took the knife apart and it seems there is some wear in the 1/8 inch hole the pin goes through which causes the wobble up and down. It's a older LB7 with a serial # and it has no bushing like the newer ones did.

My question is what would be the best way to fix this short of a new blade?

Options:

1. Drill the hole out to the next size and pin.

2. find a 1/8 bushing and install that in the blade.

3. New blade, but I have no idea where to get one that would work properly.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix LB7s that have the vertical blade movement/wobble?

Thanks,

Snorkel.

usually this can be corrected with the correct sized pin. Are you sure the pin is not worn instead of the hole? That is the most common problem, But with steel pins it may have worn the hole. I have peened on the bolsters with the face of the hammer to close in a hole before, you could use a bigger pin, but it probbly won't look correct.

Hi,
Yep, that was it, I installed a new blade pivot pin and and a new spring and it now locks up solid with 0 movement up down or side to side.
