A.J. Foyt Commemorative by Imperial worth?

Got this knife at a yard sale and have'nt been able to find out anything about it. handle is stamped with a serial number

I can not help with the knife. They make air compressors. Air Power tools like sanders for body shops. I would hang on to it. Bob

It looks as if it was a "contingency award" given by IR to the people that got the IR sponsor into the spotlight!
If you look at the cars, you will see small stickers on the lower fenders and body's of the cars. These are the "Contingency Stickers" that the parts, tools, and what ever other products the team uses in or on the cars.
When they win or get the product on TV or other forms of advertising, they (the company) gives them some type of award (money, free parts, tools, etc...)!
The knife has what seems to be a pretty high serial No. It makes me wonder how many of them are out there?? I have never seen one before. GREAT FIND!!! No idea of the value ::shrug::
