Here is the first year Canal Street Cutlery production, all 9 Dark Amber jigged bone knives. All have serial number 157. Also there are 2 other knives, 1 a swing guard is #15 of 15 made, got the last one. It has a Ram's Horn handle. The top picture is of a Canal Street Cutlery D'Holder Drop Point Hunter Knife in Dark Amber bone. That one is a mighty fine knife and I ordered one with Buffalo handles also, it doesn't feel like a production knife. 400 were made in Dark Amber Bone, only 25 will be made in Buffalo Horn. The Canal Street Cutlery D'Holder Drop Point Hunters are designed by D'Alton Holder. The steel is Sandvik 19C27 High Carbon Stainless Steel, someone told me it was a steel that originated in Sweden, but I can't verify that. On the Rockwell C scale it will go between 60-63, according to specs. All of these are out of the box condition, have not been cleaned yet.
All of these knives are impressive, but that Drop Point Hunter is a fantastic knife. ::tu:: ::tu::

Wonderful knives! CSC is my favorite 'new' brand and those are just fantastic. I have a new twist ring CSC coming, as soon as they are off the production line. Hoping for a texas toothpick soon.
