All About Pocket Knives

Just talking to my knife dealer and it appears that there is a problem with the locking mechanism on some of the new Saddle Horn Lockbacks in the File & Wire series. I was told that a few of the locks failed! So check them out before you use this knife. I was told to open the blade and engage the lock, then apply pressure to the spline or back of the blade. But watch your fingers while doing this!!! A glove might not be a bad idea. Don't want to see anyone here get hurt.

I'm starting to wonder what's up in Titusville, first they can't figure out how to build the new Premier (two years in the making) and now this?

could it be they are trying new ways to cut the cost of makeing knives?

We all know if any company does this they do not lower the price of the knife.
