Old knife repair?

Does anyone know if it's possible to have old folding knifes reconditioned, specifically with regard to tightening up the blades?

I've now acquired several Case Sharks Tooth and Mako Shark hunting knifes, all with stag handles, and a few of them have slightly wobbly blades, and that kind of ruins them for me. Is that something I just have to learn to live with, or could a good cutler fix this for me? I've talked to a couple cutlers who seemed willing to try, but also seemed a little leery about chances of success.

Any guidence would be most appreciated.

I would suggest contacting CASE directly, they may be able to assist you. Also there are some reputable repair poeple available also. Depending on the age, condition, and real problem with the blades you may or may not want to consider this. It also depends if you want to use them seriously or admire them. Let me know how you make out. Others I am sure will have suggestions too. Good luck
