lineman/electricians knife

I bought an electricians knife for $2.50 at a flea market with thoughts of reworking it into a pocket whittler. Some one ground the screw driver to a point. The bale is missing. The handle appears to be wood. There is no shield or handle stamping. The blade is marked Camillus New York USA
A gentleman suggested I check to see if it had any value to a collector or restorer pefore I start reshaping the blade.
I can post a picture when I figure out how

If the blade is still good it sounds like an excellent candidate for a make over.

I have made several.
I take it apart, remove the screwdriver blade & spring and reassemble it as a single blade jack knife.
Here are pics of one I made and put camel bone on the handles, added some filework and extended the bolsters to make a Barlow out of it.

They are a good solid knife with lots of customizing potential.
Be sure to show us the results of your work.

WOW! I doubt if mine will ever look like that. I just want to have a locking whittling knife.
