I saw this one but decided not to bid. What do you think?

Look at the blade near the bolster. Was the blade welded in here?

The blade looks OK, but I don't understand what happened to the kick. It seems like someone completely ground it off. I'd like to see a pic of the knife closed. I've never seen an electricians type knife with such a thin master blade, but being it's a pre WW2 stamp, it could be that there were a few different styles floating around back then, or, the master blade was re-shaped, resulting in the blade sticking above the liners, so the tang was ground down to get the blade to seat.

that particular knife looks fine other than the kick being ground off as mentioned above. there were two variations of the "electricians" knife from that era this slimmer model and the more abundant "standard" TL-29

The kick looks like that because of the locking mechanism, you press the mainblade down when closed to release the lock on the screwdriver, I used to have one like that, thats the way they were made in this instance.

Thanks AKC; the tang being so long and the stamp so far from the bolster had me wondering.

The seller had the wrong World War.
That is more around the time of WWI not WWII.
The early locking mechanism was replaced with the new TL-29 design in the 1930s.
The old style was from before WWI to about the mid 1930s.
The knife was older than the seller thought.

Nice one, I wish I had seen it.
I don't have one of the early style ones from Camillus.
It went pretty cheap for that knife.
