All About Pocket Knives

Did Gerber make this model in both stainless and regular tool steel? This is the large partially serrated blade dagger used in Vietnam. It had an aluminum cast handle and was also made in various deluxe versions with stag and wood handles. Where any of them made in stainless?

The one I owned, was stainless. IIRC the serial number dated it 1982.
