If I were looking for a Tested Christmas Tree Clasp; believe I would pass on this one.

JMO I don't think it is what it appears to be;

and the seller covers himself with eBay; in his description.

He also has a Tested 54 pattern; that shows up from time to time on eBay. Same song and dance with his description.

Just by looking at the knife and reading the listing, i think the seller is selling exactly what he thinks it might be. A old tested clasp knife that been cleaned and possibly rehandled.
As far as the reproducted tested trapper, well they pop up all the time.

Definitely rehandled, authentic Case clasp in relatively poor condition that has been roughly cleaned.

No pins on the scales. Dead give-away on a Case celluloid rehandle job.
