Not sure of this old Schrade? Just wanted some input.I can get this for $55.00. To me I think it looks good. Not sure who Philip is. I think one more name he uses on E Bay is camp9mm.
I have recived Schrade knifes from him on E Bay befor and all worked out good for me. I just do not know about old Schrade knives yet.

Hi justold52,
OK, first off I'll mention that camp9mm is a member here at AAPK (Gr8Scout), and you can deal with him with the utmost of confidence, IMO. However, he doesn't have that knife listed for sale, so I don't know who does.
Maybe more importantly though, that knife is NOT a Schrade...it's a Parker-Frost knife, and is so marked. So, that might influence your thinking a bit.
Just trying to be of help.

That appears to be one of the Parker-Frost knives made on contract by Schrade in the mid 1970's. Parker and Frost were partners for only a short time (maybe 1974 or 1975 to 1978?). So any Parker Frost marked knives are relatively scarce, I am not sure of collector value.

I should've thought of that fact, and maybe that's what he meant.
Yes, that timeframe sounds correct, and that could well be a contract knife made by Schrade. Thank you for pointing that out...

...it's too early for me to be posting, I'm just gonna read.

I believe Parker-Frost was 1976-1978 and Parker Brothers (Jim and Mack) went from 1978-1984. Parker described himself as a liberal and Frost as a conservative, their differing opinions led to Parker and Frost going thier seperate ways.
