I apologize if this has been discussed before. But it should make a good addition to the Boker Studies forum:
Sarasota Knife Club has an excellent article about Boker's "Great American Story" knives in 1974-78

note: edited to update link
Anyone have the complete set?

Nice start SC
You can still find knives from this series at a good price.
The delrin handles and large shields turn some folks away, but these were all made in the USA, with excellent 1095 carbon steel blades!

I never heard of J.Wiss & Sons who made my Prairie Schooner.
Do they still own Boker and outsource from Solingen?
Oops, got my answer further down, sold to Cooper tool.
My experience of Boker has been very good.
