Well, all I can say is WOW!

I've always been intrigued by the mystique of Emerson knives, but never really understood why a G-10 linerlock with 154CM steel should command such princely sums and frenzied devotion.

Well, I think I understand now. This knife is a "mini" CQC, but like the "mini" Manix and "mini" Skirmish, the first comment you have on holding it is that there's nothing "mini" about it. It's a very sturdy and beefy handful of knife, despite having a four inch handle and the three inch blade.

In addition, the obvious precision of the machining announces that this is a high end knife. The .06" thick liner engages with a loud and reassuring thunk, and mates to the 4mm thick blade tang perfectly. The action is silky smooth and the lockup is vault-like.

Once again, thanks to Bryan for doing this every month.

Regards to all,

Jim
