All About Pocket Knives

I have the Boker 712R Stag Lever Lock and just love this knife as much as my Hubertus Knives, I'm still looking for the 715R if any one has it?

Hey Camillus,

New member here but glad to see your post. I have only seen pictures of both but reallly interested in finding one. What are the differences in the two and what can you tell me about them? From the pictures I've seen the 712 has black handles and the 715 is stag. What does the r designate?

The Boker 715R was made in Stag only which the R is for.
The Boker 712 was made in Black Derlin and also Stag as well but very hard to find!
You can find these knives still, but are quite costly about $200 to $250

I also collect the Hubertus German switch blades which are top quality!

That's spot on for the prices I've seen. I'm gonna bite the bullet & get one and leaning towards the black derlin as I have a stag german eye of similar style just different blade shape. Now, which would you prefer and why? :^) the etched blade or the plain blade with just the circle.

Bokers-hubertus...both like beautiful models, they bust my heart!

I prefer the etched blade, just think it looks more appealing to me!
