All About Pocket Knives

Can anybody answer a question about a Case Classic knife it is a
73109x Tortiose shell with oval shield made in 1992 the Long Haul book says only three were made. The knife is for sale on E-Bay recently, a knife was sold the same as above only 1 of 3 were engraved on back of master blade the knife currently for sale on e-bay does not have the engraving on the master blade my question is are there three knives with the engraving 1 of 3 on the master blade and three knives that do not have the engraving or are there only three knives and one of them got engraved ?

Who knows with the Classics, at my last count, there were 109 typeo's in the Long Haul book & the only two persons that I know that may have this information would be Buzz Parker or John Adams

I would like to personally welcome you to the club . You'll love it here, and I am glad you came, I think you'll find this place friendly and informative.
As for the question you posed,,,go see if you can pull the pics and post them here in your forum question, if you have trouble, ask me and I'll try to do it for you.,,, I think what you are asking is about the engraving being for real,,,or another DD deception, right?? See if you can grab the pics before they go away, then after you post,,,the thing will go to the top of the forum, and other really knowledgeable folks here will be able to help you. The book sometimes doesn't help...but my friend,,,remembere to consider your seller and your experience with him. Could he be engraving them for his own profit??? Your damn right he would , and a lot of other unscrupulous things as well . Get the pics and post them here. You'll find the help you need, and, put an ad in the wanted section, someone might have both of the knives you are looking for. These folks are amazing,,,really Tru,,,you'll love it here.
