All About Pocket Knives

if i am expecting no real knife work. most of the time i go out, errands, shopping, i wear the police clipped in my back pocket. the baby goes around my neck. it has a titanium frame and ss blade.
of course i always have a cutter of some kind in my pocket just to make sure all the bases are covered.

I'd say you're pretty well equipped! What do you carry when you do expect some real knife work?

My EDC combo is invariably a slipjoint in the left front pocket, and something a bit more businesslike clipped to the right front -- most often a Spyderco. I'm never far from a Leatherman Wave as I have one in the house, and another in my truck. Also, if I'm doing serious work around the house I'll generally strap on a Mora fixed blade.

I go very "knife light" to work, which is an insurance claims office. I generally carry a slightly dressy slipjoint or gentleman's lockback and that's it.

hey longbeachbum! those will certainly do any "real' knife work but these two bucks go hunting. buck vanguard and folder. the folder has adjustible blade tension and opens as fast as an automatic. they both are dreams for sharpening and they're very rugged.
i carry an assortment of cases for dress occasions.
i keep a gerber multi handy for utility work. funny, but when i go out i probably have three or four knives on. it seems i need to feel heeled.

This baby has a dyed giraffe bone handle with two spacers...one is white acrylic, the other is a silver and black acrylic...and an aluminum bolster/hilt.

The open faced stingray sheath is magnetic.

I just fell for the whole package.
