All About Pocket Knives

Hi Guys, got a question for the good CASE XX people in this forum. I have 2 mint cond. CASE XX Canoes from the 1970's. One of the canoes has the etched master blade with indian in a canoe on it, made in 1976 {4 dots } The other does not have this etching on master blade but I cannot see the dots on this blade due to the bolster. Is the canoe without the etching older than 1976???? Better yet, when did CASE start etching the master blade on their canoe pattern???. THANKS!!

Case started the Canoe etch in 1974. Dots are always hard to spot on them because the bolster rides up so high.
