I need parts, any ideas?
Build your own. What specifically does it need?
Word of advice, do not let that beautiful old stone get wet and then freeze.

once again my golden rule of BOOKS,BOOKS,BOOKS!
comes into play here.
i have a few knife books that cover building a grinding wheel from scratch.i dont think in any of the books they spent more then
20$ doing it.i think one book they have a fella and he whips one up completely from one of my other hobbies -TRASH PICKING!
i will shoot you a pm dave.

A neighbor of mine used to have on similiar to yours many years ago before he passed away. It had a little trough at the bottom of the wheel that was full of water.

I suspect you will have to build your own parts, but it should be easy.
You might check with your local historical society and see if they have a picture or drawing of a complete one.
I used one as a kid on our neighbor's ranch. It was outside the woodshed by the house.
However that one had a wood frame. They were pretty common on the ranches in Southern Oregon, especially in the mountains where there was no electricity.
There should be drawings or at least some closeup photos of these somewhere.
