All About Pocket Knives

Does anyone have any information on these two Rob. Klaas Crane Brand knives. As you all know, most Rob. Klaas knives are "Kissing Crane". These knives, however have only one Crane. I ask around and nobody had seen this Crane Brand before. The red Congress pattern is actually 4-blade, forgot to open one. Thanks a lot.

Hey TJ, I also have a couple of those. I just got done cataloging my dad's collection on paper. Now I need to start getting pics together.

I've still not been able to find out anything about "Crane Brand" knives, so, since we have so many new and knowledgable people on the forum, I thought I would bring the topic back to the top and ask again, "Anybody know anything about these knives?" Thanks a lot.

i havethe four blade congress and i cant find one thing on it other than an old timer told me that it was before kissing cranes. obviously something i figured but i was told its a very good knife.

I have seen a few of the single cranes around in the past but I have not been able to find any history concerning them . However , the number on your single blade (KC38) is the numbering system which began around 1987 after they dropped the Roman numeral dating system with the KC designating Kissing Crane . Therefore I would think that it was made during the 2 crane era .

The KC numbering system I saw while searching but there was no KC38. I guess we'll never know the story of the single crane (Bernard Levine said that it is actually a stork) Crane Brand knives. Thanks a lot for your input.
