I found this in an Antique store yesterday. Tang Stamp says" KM Klien & Sons CHICAGO Made in USA. Scales are a "look like wood plastic" (for a better term I am without!) A brass liner lock. I thought it might qualify for the next Round Table as It didn't really appeal to me, but maybe would to someone. What can you tell me about it. If any one collects Hawkbills, I would part with it!

They're decent knives and Klein makes good tools. I have several Klein spud wrenches and lineman pliers in my stable and they are built to go the distance. I used to have a set of lineman's spurs made by Klein, but I'm out of that bidness and somebody wanted them worse than I did.
I'm not sure who made their knives or that particular knife.
Personally, I'd class that knife as a "user". As far as I know those with the plastic handles aren't particularly scarce and don't command a lot of attention from the collector market.
