This is the next knife in the series of the Johnnie Fain Estate knife auctions.
Johnnie was a friend of all on AAPK as well as an AAPK Moderator. Johnnie passed away unexpectedly in April of this year. I am helping Johnnie’s widow Annettee by auctioning off many knives from Johnnie’s collection. AAPK members have been most generous in helping Annettee by bidding liberally in these auctions. Any member of AAPK can bid on these knives.
This auction is for an Aerial Picture Whittler.
MAKER: KA-BAR AERIAL
PATTERN: Whittler
CLOSED LENGTH: 4 inches
BLADES: Stainless steel spear point master, with pen & spey blades.
HANDLES: Clear Acrylic with pictures of girls in old-fashioned bathing suits under them.
TANG STAMPS: Front: KA-BAR/AERIAL Rear: TT201
BOLSTERS: Nickel Silver
LINERS: Brass
CONDITION: Excellent
DAMAGE: None apparent
AGE: unknown
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U.S.A.

SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH: None
SNAP: Strong snap, all three blades.
ADDITIONAL INFO: This is a neat knife! I did find one of these on the Internet for $149.95. There is no box or papers with this knife.
This auction will end at 12 Noon, (AAPK time), Thursday, September 3, 2009.
At that time the high bidder will be declared the winner.
Payment is to be by money order. Upon receipt of payment the knife will be shipped.
The payment price will be the winning bid plus $7.90 for shipping via Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. The knife will be well packaged to prevent damage.
