All About Pocket Knives

Hey Fellow Knive Folks,
I've got a question maybe some of you can help me with. My brother has a case xx machette about 12 or 14 inches long with a
bolo end. Has anyone seen one of these and if so what are they
worth ? The condition is not too good has some pitting and the wooden handles are broken. I'm thinking maybe something from
ww II or later. It doesn't fold or nothing. Any help would be greatly
apperciated. Thank You,

I have posted below a link to a Kabar Marine Corps knife. I don't have a picture of the Case version of this knife, but this Kabar is a representative example of the design. Does the knife you are asking about look like the one shown on the attached link? Or is the one you are asking about a true machettee? (Never saw one made by Case, but that doesn't mean they didn't make one )

If it is like this one they may have made two versions a four and a five rivet handle. In the condition you note maybe $50(probably less) if a five rivet. a bit less if a four rivet. If mint maybe four times those prices to the collector.
